I am a big fan of the upper lash, liquid eyeliner look...but I find the gel eyeliners have a nicer finish than a liquid liner, they are easier to use, plus they dry quicker and don't crack!
I first used this product a few month ago when I was doing someones make up and they asked if I could use this gel eyeliner on their eyes as they said it was really long lasting. After using it on her I went out and bought it straight away and have been using it on myself and clients ever since! I have used other similar eye gels like this before, including MACs fluidline and BOBBI BROWNs long wear gel eyeliner, and for me the MAYBELLINE one is the best!
It goes on so smoothly and the black is really intense, the colour applies evenly and doesn't need any building up...you only need a little bit, the gel goes a long way so will last forever! It is also really easy to do a softer line if you prefer this look and it blends easily.
Plus you get a little brush in it perfect for your make up bag which is also really good, it is medium thickness but is pointed, so is perfect for applying your flick! I can't say for sure if it lasts 24hrs exactly as I haven't worn it that long, but I imagine that it would as it doesn't budge the whole day, no smudging or cracking!
So this is what it looks like...You can find this in most boots and cost only £7.99!
A closer look...
Just so you can see the texture of the gel (its really smooth)
and the brush...its a little messy as I have used it a lot!

Dear Santa...one for the christmas list!
I always love it when MAC do their limited edition ranges as they usually include a really good brush set. I say they are really good because they are just the same brushes they sell normally (with different colour/style handles) but as a set you get a lot more for your money.
So for MACs christmas limited edition range they have come up with a collection of festive sets called 'GLITTER AND ICE'. One which is already on my christmas list is the 'Make it perfect brush kit/mineralize'...I love duo fibre brushes, they are made of goat hair and synthetic fibres, so they really soft and amazing for blending.
PRICE £39.50
From the top we have...
-187 duo fibre brush
£32.50 to buy on its own.
Great for blending and buffing in face powder. So soft too!
-130 Short duo fibre
£28.00 to buy on its own.
The most amazing brush ever! I use this to apply foundation.
It gives you such a flawless, seamless finish.
-282 Duo Fibre Shader brush
£19.00 (roughly, they don't have the exact one on sale atm)
Great for applying eyeshadow, and works for shading too as its so soft
-286 Duo Fibre Tapered Brush
£19.00 (again roughly) Amazing at blending eyeshadow in.
Plus a cute make up bag!
